Photos FINALLY!
I have finally gotten around to posting some of the photos I took on my journey to Liberia. For those of you who have been waiting, thank you. I'm sorry it has taken me so long.
The first three photos are photos taken on the streets of Monrovia. They are quite humorous if you take a good look at them. I would love to say I sat there and waited for the right moment to open the shutter, but alas, these were all moments captures as I was in the passenger seat of a Land Rover. It was only when I returned home that I saw the humor that is on the streets of this capital city.
Just a note, all of these images are copy written and have an embedded digital watermark. Please do not use without permission.
The gentleman on the right is an ice cream vendor. It took me awhile to realize what I had actually captured in this shot. The customer is getting the ice cream scooped directly into his hand. I don't know if he received a discount because he didn't get it in a cone, but I love the look on his face.
I still have a lot more images to sort through. Keep me bookmarked so you will know when to come back.
I would love feedback on my images. Please drop me a line.
Love,
Kimberly

Toilet paper anyone?
The following images were taken at the Hotel Ducor. This used to be a five star hotel prior to the start of the 14-year civil war. Squatters were living here up till about 2-years ago.
